The building was a printing plant with windows on three sides but like so many lofts, there is a large interior territory far from light. By locating the hallways, dining and kitchen in this center space, the living areas are closer to windows. By building interior walls with clerestories and large sliding glass doors, much of the original loft character is preserved.
